# Recce

> A tiny creative studio for the future. Recce is the one person studio of producer and filmmaker Doug Brown, specialising in development and production of brand films, brand activations, documentaries and stunts.

Recce can do most things in house, expanding with collaborators when needed. Services include development, production, filmmaking, creative project management, social-first production and B2B campaigns.

Doug previously worked in-house for Uncovered, Netflix and Ed Sheeran, and produced for Channel 4, BBC News, A&E, Outside TV and Smithsonian. The portfolio includes his previous in-house and agency work as well as freelance projects; project pages describe the relevant roles and agency relationships.

- [Wise - Silly Money](https://reccestudio.com/#project-wise-silly-money): Sent creator Josh Pieters to the south of Spain using only barter. Created a miniature diorama of New York and London and raced snails between them. Printed hidden fees on grains of rice and challenged the public to find them at a pop-up activation. - [Labour - 2024 General Election](https://reccestudio.com/#project-labour-2024-general-election): Rapidly built a team to film and edit the election broadcast in under 10 days. Managed an enormous Meta campaign, including liaising with prospective MPs and staff across the country. Produced multiple fast-turnaround social assets, including Jon Richardson in the bath.
- [Ice Airport Alaska](https://reccestudio.com/#project-ice-airport-alaska): Over two winters working with airlines, the military and police, I developed excellent relationships, produced and shot scenes across Alaska, and developed an FAA-approved system for rigging cameras in the cockpit of active passenger flights with Ravn Alaska. - [Jeep](https://reccestudio.com/#project-jeep): Ran the project from initial call to delivery, working closely with Google and Jeep. Cast and contracted Blake, managed scripting with Jeep, Uncovered and Blake, and produced the shoot and delivery of multiple assets across long- and short-form social.
